GP Series Gate Operator

Your GTO / Linear Pro Access Systems GP Series Gate Operator is warranted by the manufacturer against defects in materials and manufacturer workmanship from date of purchase, provided the recommend-ed installation procedures have been followed. The warranty time period is based upon the type of application the gate operator is installed, either a commercial or residential application. The application is considered residential if there are four or fewer dwellings and/or families. Limited warranty time periods are as follows:

Residential Applications:
Seven (7) years on mechanical parts, five (5) years on electrical parts.

Commercial Applications:
Five (5) years on mechanical parts, three (3) years on electrical parts.

GTO / Linear Pro sells its products through authorized retail and on-line channels to ensure that consumers obtain quality pre-sale and after sale support and service. The warranty on GTO / Linear Pro products is NOT VALID if the products have been purchased from an unauthorized, on-line E-tailer (e.g., E-bay® sellers who are not authorized GTO / Linear Pro resellers), or if a product's serial number has been altered, removed, or replaced in any way. In the case of product failure due to defective material or manufacturer workmanship within the warranty time period, the opener will be repaired or replaced (at the manufacturer's option) at no charge to the customer, if returned freight prepaid to GTO PRO, Inc / Linear Pro Access, Inc., 3121 Hartsfield Road, Tallahassee, Florida, USA 32303. IMPORTANT: Call (850) 575-4144 or Fax (850) 575-8950 for a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number before returning item(s) to the factory. Products shipped to the factory without an RGA number will not be accepted. Replacement or repaired parts are covered by this warranty for the remainder of the two (2) year warranty period or six (6) months, whichever is greater. GTO / Linear Pro will pay shipping costs (equal to United Parcel Service ground rate) for return to owner of item(s) repaired under warranty.

The manufacturer will not be responsible for any charges or damages incurred in the removal of the defective parts for repair, or the reinstallation of these parts after repair. Use of any components that are not GTO / Linear Pro specified (e.g. battery or transformer) will void the warranty. This warranty shall be considered void if damage to the product(s) was due to improper installation or use, use of non-GTO / Linear Pro specified or approved components or replacement parts, connection to an improper power source, tampering, or if damage was caused by lightning, wind, fire, flood, insects, or other natural agent. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state (or jurisdiction to jurisdiction). GTO / Linear Pro’s responsibility for malfunctions and defects in equipment is limited to repair and replacement as set forth in this warranty statement. All express and implied warranties for the product, including but not limited to any implied warranties and conditions of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in time to the term of the limited warranty period reflected in this limited warranty. No warranties, whether express or implied, will apply after the limited warranty period has expired.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you. GTO / Linear Pro does not accept liability beyond the remedies provided for in this limited warranty or for consequential or incidental damages, including, without limitation, any liability for third-party claims against you for damages or for products not being available for use. Our liability will be no more than the amount you paid for the product that is the subject of the claim. This is the maximum amount for which we are responsible. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
